    • Oceanography more typically making extensive use of 3rd dimension, time.

  • discussion of new possible new data types (grid and date)
    • Derik to email ptolemy-hackers re: date.
    • Dan, Derik, Nathan to discuss grid data types, and how GIS workflows manipulate images on disk through Kepler
